Welcome Back Conner Carriere

EAPC is excited to welcome back Conner Carriere as an Electrical Engineer within our Industrial Services division in our Grand Forks office.

Conner Carriere New

Inspired by his uncle’s work with electronics from a young age, Conner has always been fascinated by the ability to create and innovate within the engineering field.

Conner initially left EAPC to explore opportunities at the University of North Dakota (UND) in a lab setting, but the unique dynamics and camaraderie at EAPC drew him back. His previous experience includes impressive work on multi-drone autonomous flight systems, where he developed algorithms for target location and identification. Conner also takes pride in his thesis work on UAS Teaming for Search and Rescue Applications, showcasing his commitment and skill in tackling complex projects.

In his new role, Conner is eager to explore control systems and integrate his coding skills into AutoCAD. His enthusiasm for control systems and logical problem solving will drive innovation and efficiency within our projects.

Raised in Grafton, ND, Conner cherishes his memories of working in a warm shop on cold days. Outside of work, he enjoys coding, tinkering with projects, and northern lights hunting with his wife. An automotive enthusiast, Conner spends much of his free time working on cars and motorcycles.

Fun Fact

  • A lesser-known talent of Conner’s is his ability to solve a Rubik’s Cube in just 21 seconds—a testament to his quick thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Conner proposed in his EAPC shirt, and it so happened that their engagement photos were taken outside EAPC Fargo!

Quick Queries with Conner:

  • If you could instantly master any skill that isn’t work-related, what would it be?
Engine tuning would make my car and checkbook a whole lot happier!
  • If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Definitely biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs. It's hard to get tired of a good breakfast!
