EAPC is excited to welcome Ryan Kranz as our new Architecture Lead/Senior Architect in the Sioux Falls office.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a Master of Architecture from Iowa State University.
With 20 years of industry experience, Ryan began his career as an Architectural Associate at a full-service design firm, gaining expertise across various project types. He later served as a Senior Architect and Project Manager at another firm in Sioux Falls, where he worked on all aspects of the design process from programming through construction. His portfolio includes projects in healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and retail.
“I always wanted to be an architect. That was my goal from day one,” says Ryan, who brings a robust healthcare portfolio to EAPC. “I like knowing that I’m part of people being able to get healthcare services and the care they need.”
In 2007, Ryan co-founded a small Sioux Falls firm, an experience he credits with teaching him to navigate the industry effectively. “Being part of a smaller firm and part of that founding group, you really learn to wear all the hats. You gain experience in every aspect of the profession.”
Ryan has contributed his expertise to “Design: SD,” assisting rural communities with design opportunities, and to the Downtown Sioux Falls Design Committee, where he helped with design standards and project compliance. He currently serves on the Sioux Falls Building Board of Appeals.
Passionate about volunteer work, Ryan looks forward to participating in the Sioux Falls office’s community events, including the Veterans Community Project, The Banquet, and the Big Sioux River Greenway Cleanup. He also participates annually in a snow sculpture fundraising event for Children’s Inn.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys hiking, golfing, home renovations, and traveling. He recently celebrated his 20-year wedding anniversary in Hawaii, which he cites as his favorite travel destination.
We are excited for Ryan to bring his experience and passion to EAPC!
Welcome to EAPC Ryan!
