Michaela Moen Becomes Full-time Interior Designer

EAPC is happy to announce that Michaela Moen has officially joined our team as a full-time Interior Designer

Michaela Moen

Michaela started her career at EAPC in May of 2022 as an Interior Design Student Intern. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from North Dakota State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, earned in May 2020.

With a mom who works in construction management and a dad in the landscape maintenance field, a similar career that married those interests only felt natural for Michaela, “I really liked this stuff, I like seeing it come together. I wanted to figure out what I could do along this vein.”

Michaela shares that some of her favorite projects she worked on as an intern are the UND Alerus Center Suite Renovation, NDSU Peltier Complex and the Leech Lake Tribal College.
When it comes to designing, the most rewarding part of the process for Michaela is going on site visits and seeing everything come together. “This is my brain-child, and it is now physical. It’s like ‘I brought this into the world, I hope you enjoy.’

As an intern at EAPC, Michaela enjoyed working on healthcare and renovation projects because she enjoyed working with clients to solve the problem of the space.

“Mickey has been a great asset to the Interiors Department. She is eager to learn and do new things.” — Elise Derby, Interior Designer

Michaela’s main goal for her professional career is to earn her National Council for Interior Design (NCIDQ) certification. In her free time, Michaela enjoys watching YouTube to learn about a variety of topics including historical fashion, makeup, embroidery, and archeology.

Congratulations, Michaela!
