EAPC is excited to announce Josh Sunstrom in our Fargo office has accepted a full-time job as an Electrical Engineer, EIT
Josh started his career at EAPC as an Electrical Student Intern in May of 2023. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in December 2023.
He says that Senior Electrical Engineers Travis Vaughn and Marc Hagen were great mentors during his internship, and he’s excited to continue working with them in a new way. “They taught me to always take detailed notes on everything and that it’s better to have them and not use them than not at all.”
Josh’s favorite classes at NDSU were those with labs, where he could learn the material in a hands-on way. He is looking forward to being able to work on designs himself, and to be trusted to make design decisions.
“I’m looking forward to all of the site visits and meeting with contractors and seeing the projects I’ve been working on during the last year actually being built.”
Josh is currently studying for his Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and hopes to take it sometime this spring.
In his free time, Josh likes to indoor boulder rock climb (climbing without ropes), go fishing, and play board games.
Welcome to the team full-time Josh!
