Renovated Space Incorporates Outdoor Recreation and Colorful Designs for Optimal Well-Being
To address the growing need for pediatric behavioral health care, Cascade 500 unit was renovated into a 12-bed inpatient pediatric behavioral health unit for children ages 5-12. The remodel created a safe, uplifting, and age-appropriate healing environment. The design features custom wall graphics, natural light, outdoor recreation spaces, and vibrant colors to enhance emotional and psychological well-being. This thoughtfully designed unit alleviates long emergency room waits, providing specialized care for an underserved patient population. The project passed its Arizona Department of Health survey with zero comments and high praise.
