University of Jamestown Nursing Simulation Lab
UJ's new state-of-the-art simulation lab allows nursing students to gain real-life experience before entering the workforce.
The former PRACS facility in Fargo has been transformed into the UJ Center for Graduate and Professional Studies, featuring a state-of-the-art nursing simulation training lab for the University of Jamestown. The renovation involved removing and reconstructing interior partitions, openings, ceilings, and finishes, as well as installing patient treatment simulation areas, classrooms, meeting rooms, and offices.
This immersive learning environment allows students to engage in simulated patient interactions and real-world medical scenarios, helping them develop essential nursing skills in a safe and supportive setting.
The simulation center enhances students' ability to make critical decisions, administer lifesaving care, and communicate effectively in high-pressure situations.
