Grand Forks Public Schools Safety and Security Upgrades

Implementing CPTED for Enhanced School Safety

This project introduces comprehensive CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) strategies to bolster safety and security across Grand Forks Public Schools. By evaluating both the interior and exterior environments and collaborating with local law enforcement, the initiative ensures controlled access and enhances the well-being of students, staff, and visitors. Upgrades include securing entrances and perimeters, revising policies and training, and optimizing emergency response plans to create a safer educational setting.
