Expanded Pharmacy Space Incorporates Innovative Design Elements
The interior demolition and reconstruction of the lower-level inpatient pharmacy included expanding the pharmacy footprint and adding a hospital bed park area. The project updated the pharmacy to meet regulatory requirements, installing new equipment, millwork, and furnishings in five phases to maintain operations. Enhancements included a clean room suite, Omnicell drug storage carousels, vertical bed storage lifts, and a pneumatic carrier station for efficient product delivery. The redesigned space now accommodates growing staff and storage needs, providing a modern, secure, and functional environment.
