Sophisticated Design Elevates Self-Storage with Innovation and Community Integration
Thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, this Class-A 706 unit, self-storage facility meets stringent City of Scottsdale design standards while enhancing public perception of storage solutions. The facility’s refined architectural aesthetic features painted stucco, window glazing, metal accent panels, awnings, and integral-color CMU block, ensuring a sleek and commercial-like appearance. To comply with strict height limits while maximizing square footage, two basement levels were incorporated into the design. Energy efficiency is prioritized with low-E windows, low-light reflective paint colors, and LED motion-sensor lighting. The site is further enhanced with drought-tolerant landscaping designed to mature into a self-sustaining ecosystem. Aligning with Scottsdale’s Green Design Standards, the project includes EV charging stalls to support sustainable initiatives. Through collaboration with the city and neighborhood, EAPC delivered a facility that seamlessly integrates into the residential setting while providing climate-controlled storage, a front office, and retail space for customer convenience.
