Bismarck High School Auditorium & Gym
Expansive Upgrades Include New Auditorium and Gym Additions
Bismarck High School in North Dakota expanded its campus with the addition of a new auditorium and gymnasium, marking its transition from being the only Class A high school in the state without these facilities. The Karlgaard Gym features three basketball courts, a wrestling room, seating for 1,800 spectators, and a walking track, along with a new school store and a weight room that leverages natural daylighting. The 685-seat auditorium is acoustically tailored for large musical and theatrical performances and includes a black box room for smaller events. Both additions have separate entrances and parking to facilitate community access during non-school events, significantly enhancing the school's sports and arts infrastructure.
