New Stationary Screens Improve Efficiency and Reduce Maintenance in Flume System
The replacement of outdated vibratory and rotary drum screens in the flume system was addressed with the installation of four new stationary screens, two of which operate at a time, with two spares available for surge capacity or maintenance. A 3D model was created after scanning the site, and demolition and process drawings were developed to guide the project. New supply headers and stainless-steel discharge chutes were designed for the weed presses, with construction drawings and specifications prepared and issued for bidding.
