Welcome Amanda Carpenter

We are pleased to welcome Amanda Carpenter to EAPC as a Human Resources Coordinator in our Fargo office

Amanda Carpenter-1

Amanda completed her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a Human Resource Management focus from the University of North Dakota in 2019. She is currently pursuing her MBA through UND with an anticipated graduation date of May 2023. While working on her bachelor’s degree, Amanda completed HR internships with EAPC in the winter of 2018 and AE2S in the summer of 2018.

During her time at UND, Amanda was active in the UND Society for Human Resource Management having served as the President (Spring 2018) and Vice President (2017). She received the Lillian Elsinga Outstanding Student Leader award in the Spring of 2018 and 2019. Upon graduating, Amanda has served as an Account Technician for UND providing oversight of the Satisfactory Academic Progress Program and ensuring compliance with federal and institutional regulations.

When the EAPC position opened up, Amanda said she jumped at the opportunity to work again for our firm. “I just had to apply because of my great experience at EAPC in 2018. I just loved working here!”

Amanda said that her interest in human resources began back in her high school days. When her older cousin (who is in the HR field) would visit, Amanda would listen in on his meetings and be intrigued with the opportunities that present themselves in this field. “I really admired my cousin’s approach and now I have the opportunity to explore a wide range of HR areas and acquire the skills necessary to enhance our HR support to 160+ staff. I want to be that smiling, welcoming face to new employees and to all who seek assistance and resources.”

Amanda said that one of her favorite parts of the HR field is recruiting and onboarding.

Amanda is a Fargo native and enjoy the outdoors camping, kayaking, and lake life. Spring can’t come soon enough!

Welcome back to EAPC, Amanda!
