Every great design begins with a purpose and for EAPC, that purpose is always rooted in people.
The Fairview Centralized Pharmacy and Infusion Center began as a tenant improvement project in a brand-new shell building, but it quickly became much more than that. The goal was clear: create a consolidated, centralized pharmacy system that would optimize Fairview’s operational efficiency and expand their capacity to care for patients across the region.
A Vision for Healing and Efficiency
Working closely with Knutson Construction, EAPC provided Project Management, Architecture, and Interior Design services to deliver a facility that blends innovation, efficiency, and patient-centered care.
This project brings together multiple Fairview programs under one roof including Specialty Pharmacy, Home Infusion, and expanded training capabilities.

A fully automated packing and distribution line to support Specialty Pharmacy operations

Modular clean rooms to enhance Home Infusion services

A 16-chair infusion center designed around natural light, comfort, and dignity
Within this 150,000-square-foot distribution-style facility, EAPC carved out an environment that feels personal and human. Every infusion bay is positioned along exterior windows, and clerestory windows fill the space with daylight. Private infusion rooms for children and adolescents extend the natural, serene design aesthetic throughout.

From the early planning stages through construction, our team collaborated with Fairview and Knutson to create not just a space that works, but a space that cares. The result is a facility that enhances both patient and staff well-being, improves access to critical health services in the north metro, and supports Fairview’s mission to deliver exceptional care.
Community Impact
At the ribbon cutting, a longtime patient shared how Fairview’s mail order pharmacy has supported her health journey for decades; a testament to the life-changing services this project continues to expand. With improved access and an elevated patient experience, the new facility strengthens Fairview’s ability to serve more patients, more effectively, and with greater compassion.
