EAPC Architects Engineers Announces Expansion of Leadership Roles
GRAND FORKS, ND — EAPC Architects Engineers (EAPC), a leader in architectural and engineering services, is excited to announce a significant expansion in its leadership structure by introducing proven non-partner professionals into the role of "Principal in Charge" (PC) of projects. This strategic enhancement marks a pivotal development in EAPC’s commitment to excellence, adaptation, and governance in a dynamic industry.

A Principal at EAPC, historically exclusively a Partner, is a licensed professional known for their leadership, expertise, and experience within the firm. The role is crucial in managing client relationships, mitigating risks, and ensuring the highest quality of project outcomes.

The expansion of this role to non-partner Principals is designed to alleviate bottlenecks in project management, enhance the firm’s capacity to manage a growing number of projects without compromising oversight and quality, and recognize the extensive expertise within the firm’s ranks. This adjustment allows Partners to concentrate more on strategic governance and less on day-to-day project oversight.

Selection and Roles of New Principals
Principals are selected based on stringent criteria including Licensed Professional Status, at least a 1-year tenure with EAPC, demonstrated leadership in managing teams and projects, a proven track record of maintaining excellent client relationships, recognized technical expertise, and a commitment to quality in their project portfolios.

The newly appointed Principals, who will be assigned to new projects based on their existing client relationships, specific expertise, market knowledge, and current capacity, include:

  • Dan Abeln: Healthcare Director/Architect | St. Paul Office, 18 years in AE Industry, 8 years with EAPC
