The new school will create a faith-centered learning environment designed to support academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community for generations to come.
Construction is officially underway on St. Carlo Acutis Middle School, a significant milestone for the All Saints Catholic Schools Network in Grand Forks. The new middle school will serve students within the network, which includes Holy Family, St. Mary's, and St. Michael's, and is designed to support both academic excellence and faith formation for generations to come.

EAPC Architects Engineers is proud to be a member of the project team, working alongside McGough Construction as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), AE2S as the civil engineer, the All Saints Catholic Schools Network, and the Catholic Diocese of Fargo to bring this important vision to life.
EAPC will provide the architectural, interior design, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and safety and security design services for the new facility. Our involvement began with the project's master planning phase and continued through pre-design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.

Throughout the design process, the EAPC team worked closely with school leadership to ensure the building reflects the All Saints Catholic Schools Network's mission of "Virtue, Faith, and Service – fostering the development of the whole child through exceptional academics, Christian service and faith building opportunities." Every design decision was guided by this vision, creating spaces that support learning while reinforcing the school's Catholic identity.

Catholic symbolism has been thoughtfully integrated throughout both the exterior and interior of the building. A striking example is the large monstrance that serves as the focal point of the commons. Selected because the Eucharist is the source and summit of the Catholic faith and connects to St. Carlo Acutis’ documentation of Eucharistic Miracles. Another prominent space features the Crucifixion and Behold Your Mother scene, where students and visitors can immerse themselves among life-size statues, creating a meaningful environment for reflection and spiritual growth.

The new middle school represents a significant investment in Catholic education throughout the Grand Forks community. Funding for the project continues through the Ignite the Mission capital campaign, which has raised more than $5.3 million toward its $8.25 million goal.
As construction progresses, EAPC is honored to help create a learning environment where faith, education, and community come together to inspire future generations of students.
