Fargo Fire Department elevated Fire Station 5 by replacing living quarters with new and improved spaces.
Fire Station 5 in Fargo, North Dakota, renovations included demolition of existing living quarters and replacement with a new addition. The space program included adding four private sleeping rooms, Captain’s office with private sleeping quarters, bathroom and shower facilities, physical fitness room, training area, living room, dining/kitchen, and laundry. Renovations to the existing apparatus bay include incorporating decontamination protocol and gear storage areas. New HVAC, plumbing, and electrical upgrades throughout the facility. Exterior updates included signage, lighting, awning, paving, landscaping, and outdoor gathering and grill patio on south side of building.
