This renovation converted underutilized administrative space into a Specialty Pharmacy designed for filling of primarily mail-order prescriptions.
The primary scope also included a new call center to support the pharmacy patients, and a new separately licensed sterile compounding pharmacy. The Specialty Pharmacy area was designed to allow for expansion of not only the space but also the automated line as volumes increase. Support areas for the storage of outbound and incoming materials were required in the design. Multiple new security boundaries were created and new separated lab administrative office was constructed. Both the pharmacies and the lab share a common reception area, breakroom, and locker rooms to maximize space efficiency.
