EAPC is excited to welcome Scott Howell as an Architectural Lead/Senior Architect in our Phoenix office

Scott earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from North Dakota State University. He is an AIA member and is currently licensed in Minnesota. He is working to obtain his licensure in Arizona.

Most recently, Scott served as an Associate/Project Manager at an architecture firm where he grew from a designer position to a project manager role. Scott was involved across all market sectors including multi-family housing, mixed-use, healthcare, corporate office buildings, restaurants, assisted living, and casino projects. In this role, he was also the team leader for construction administration of the new $350 million Valleywise Health Acute Care Hospital in Phoenix.

With a major focus on our healthcare sector coming from the Phoenix office, Scott is excited to continue learning more about the world of healthcare design. “Going from doing mostly multi-family projects to healthcare projects – they’re very complex with a lot of components and coordination. I’m excited to keep learning more about healthcare and working with our Midwest offices.” Scott is enthusiastic about joining our continuously expanding team in Phoenix and contributing to the expansion of our presence in the Southwest.

“We are thrilled with the addition of Scott to our Phoenix Team. His deep experience and knowledge are exactly what our Phoenix office needs to continue to drive our 5-year strategy in the Valley and beyond. As a registered architect with terrific project management and healthcare project experience, Scott compliments an already talented and cohesive team!” – Jim Tyler, CEO/Partner

This role at EAPC will include some new challenges for Scott, with a focus on leading people, but he is excited to take on the responsibility. “It was a move of opportunity. I enjoy working with people the most and finding a way to bring everyone’s strengths to the table. I see this as an opportunity to help grow EAPC’s Phoenix presence and support the growing architecture team here.”

In his spare time, Scott enjoys being outdoors as much as he can now that he is living in the sunshine year-round. “I exchanged my snow shovel for golf clubs and never went back.” When Scott isn’t golfing, he also enjoys hiking, photography, and cooking.

Welcome to EAPC, Scott!
