Jarrod earned a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship from the National Center for Construction Education and Research and is a licensed Master Plumber in North Dakota.
Jarrod first gained plumbing experience as a Journeyman Plumber where he constructed waste, vent, and water supply piping systems, as well as mentored/managed apprentices. He then advanced to a role at Sanford Health where he performed regular maintenance per plumbing code and repaired plumbing systems and fixtures. Most recently, Jarrod worked at a local university, where he continued to repair plumbing systems and collaborated with project managers to ensure project completion.
Jarrod spent six years providing field construction and four in service. Now, he is looking forward to spending some time on the designing side of things. "Sometimes things look really good on paper, but when you actually put stuff in the ceiling, there are things that just don't work in the space. Having that experience in the field will hopefully help me to design better to avoid some of those situations for the guys in the field."
Jarrod is also looking forward to being part of a full-service firm and taking advantage of all of the learning opportunities that come with it. "I was looking for a growth opportunity. EAPC feels like there's room to learn other systems and develop in my career."
Jarrod has two kids who keep him busy with their extracurricular activities. In the summer he also enjoys golfing and going to the lake. Year-round, Jarrod hits the gym every morning at five before coming to work.
We are excited for Jarrod to bring his knowledge to EAPC!
