Dan is returning to the EAPC team, having previously been a Senior Project Manager from 2010-2015 in our Grand Forks office. He also opened our St. Paul office in 2015, serving as the Operations Manager until 2017.
Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design and Master of Architecture from North Dakota State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. He is NCARB Certified, a Licensed Architect in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Carolina, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Most recently, he served as Health Principal at HDR Architects Inc. in Minneapolis. In this position, Dan’s main responsibility was to grow and develop the Health Architecture practice by maintaining quality relationships and developing a strategic vision for the team.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled that Dan is rejoining our Healthcare Team! He cut his teeth in Healthcare during his early years at EAPC and has continued his growth with nothing but Healthcare Design in the interim years to become an expert in the field.” – Jim Tyler, Mechanical Engineer, Vice President of EAPC
As for his approach to his new role at EAPC, Dan says he is excited to be back at the firm and to be part of a team with a “humble and gritty” work ethic.
“I’m excited to help lead such a talented collective of Healthcare design professionals as we continue to build, diversify, strengthen, and evolve our practice across all of our offices.”
Dan and his wife Jessica have three children. Their daughter, Khiana, is currently a senior at NDSU majoring in Social Work. They also have two sons, Knox and Xander. Outside of work, they spend as much time as possible in the North Shore area of Minnesota hiking, biking, and exploring. Dan is an avid golfer and self-taught furniture restorer.
