Alex began her career at EAPC as a Site Entitlement Planning Student Intern in our Phoenix office in April of 2021.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Arizona State University in 2022 and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Architecture from ASU with plans to graduate in the Spring of 2024.
Expressing her appreciation for EAPC, Alex notes, “What I really like about EAPC is that you have the resources and the knowledge of a large firm, while you also get the community and sense of belonging of a smaller firm. That has been instrumental to me.”
Alex is a wonderful addition to our team; we are excited to have her full time! She has tremendous work ethic, an eagerness to learn and an overall welcoming, positive attitude.” – Michelle Bach.
In the lead-up to her full-time position, Alex took on additional responsibilities, including leading meetings with city employees/committees and serving as the primary contact for projects. Looking ahead, she is excited about collaborating with EAPC architect Mindy Hart to explore the construction administration process and participate in more site visits. Alex is dedicated to continuous learning and aspires to transition into a project manager role in the future.
“Understanding how the other sectors and project types work definitely is helpful in entitlements. Entitlements aren’t just for storage – they’re for lots of different job types.”
Alex is currently working on her NCARB AXP hours and is hoping to begin the process of studying for her licensure exam by the end of this year. She is also working towards LEED Green certification.
