Chad Frost, Director, Business Excellence

As the leader of the EAPC Business Excellence team, Chad has provided over 20 years of Leadership and Management expertise and experience to a variety of industries including high voltage electrical distribution, hard disk drive manufacturing, electrical motors & drives controls design and assembly, wind turbine blade manufacturing, and agricultural livestock feeding equipment industries. In these roles, Chad has provided leadership and support to these companies to improve their processes, increase productivity, and provide the greatest value to their end customers through LEAN, Six Sigma, Quality, and Engineering approaches.  At Chad’s current position at EAPC Architects Engineers, he provides these consulting services to EAPC’s customers in all of our sectors and his efforts are also being directed internally to EAPC to help improve its overall business operation as well.


Rick Sandwick, Leadership Consultant

Rick has provided leadership training for nearly 10 years to business leaders in a variety of organizations including, LM Glasfiber, and Edgewood Management Group. As HR Manager for Edgewood, Rick provided management support services for 1,200 employees at 23 properties throughout five states. Rick also fulfilled the roles of HR Officer and HR Manager for Facilities Management at University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, providing HR services to more than 6,000 employees. Currently, Rick is the Human Resources Director for EAPC Architects Engineers and is responsible for Staff Training and Development, Recruitment & Retention, Leadership Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Policy Review and Development, New Employee Orientation, Benefits Administration, and other general HR functions. Rick currently serves on the Leadership Committee for The Chamber – Grand Forks/East Grand Forks, presenter for the Leadership for Life Course, Vice President of the Northeastern Dakota Area Human Resource Association, and serves as a mentor to three Human Resource Managers in the Grand Forks region.


Greg Soleim, Business Analytics Consultant

Greg has provided 17 years of accounting and finance expertise to both public and private sectors in manufacturing and service industries. As Finance Controller at LM Wind Power, Greg provided significant financial analysis and reporting as well as directing budgets, forecasts, and cost controls. He also coordinated and participated in year-end audits while gaining ISO audit certification to perform internal audits of process functions. At his current position at EAPC Architects Engineers, Greg oversees all company finance and accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reporting, banking, insurance, taxation, and audit functions.



Lori Bakken

Lori Bakken, Marketing Director

Lori has provided 23 years of marketing expertise to a variety of industries including food service, tools and hardware, and architecture and engineering. Lori has worked both in the local retail arena as well as promoting goods and services on a national scale. As the marketing manager for the Tools & Hardware division of, Lori’s responsibility was to oversee the annual production of millions of retail catalogs to consumers and oversee the website development and innovation of the T&H division. At her current position at EAPC Architects Engineers, Lori provides the planning and leadership to ensure that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed in order to meet and exceed the goals of the Marketing plan. Lori assumes overall responsibility for developing and executing the annual marketing plan, strategic market planning, and presentation of the marketing budget.
